In less then 5 days I will be leaving my home to travel Bali and Australia!
Traveling through Bali en Australia will be so exciting and I can’t wait to leave.
If everything is in place, I might even stay in Australia. At least, that is my intention,
but you never know how things will turn out so I’ll just go with the flow.
But first, 2 weeks of Bali bliss. And since I don’t want to miss out on all the good
things Bali has to offer I made myself a nice wishlist of the things I have to see and do.
I’ve never visited the tropical Island before and since I only have 2 weeks I have to pick
the best spots, places and activities.
If there is anything you have to try when you’re in Bali it is surfing. There are so many perfect surfing spots out here, that I wanted to do it. I’ve never done it before and since I want to learn it before I go to Australia I booked a week of surfing lessons at La Point at Bingin Beach. They offer surf lessons for every kind of level and include accommodation, breakfast, dinner, yoga classes and a whole lot of fun! I picked them up online, read the program and booked one week of surfing. You can also book 2 weeks if you want to do more surfing.
2. Another thing I definitely want to do is to go on the large swing in Ubud, with a view over the green valley and a waterfall. It definitely makes a good Instagram picture, haha. Very important! But most of all it looks exciting!
And after I am done I want to see all the beautiful rice fields.
3. A trip to the Gili Islands.
I bought a new book and I intend to read it. With the sun on my face, a cocktail in my hand
and nothing but crystal clear blue waters around me at the beach, the Gili Islands are the perfect place to eat, sleep, read and repeat.
4. Yoga class.
Couldn’t miss of course, and since I am feeling a bit of a Pinocchio, I need some yoga to stretch and
release all the stress and pressure of the past year. I’ve tried it before and I loved it, but now I am in the perfect spot
to try it again. Pure relaxation!
I dived in Vietnam for the first time and for the ones who read my story about trip to
Vietnam know I absolutely loved it! With the clear waters here, diving is a perfect way to entertain yourself,
but if you don’t feel like going to deep, there is also lots to see while snorkeling.
6. Visit Tanah Lot
This temple situated on a rock in the sea is definitely a tourist attraction, but I don’t mind. It looks so beautiful
and I believe it’s worth a look for sure.
7. A trip to Nusa Lembongan
Only 30 minutes by boat, this island has some of the most beautiful beaches and is a bit more quite.
Still popular among tourists, but not as much as other places on Bali. You can spot Manta Ray’s over here while
diving or snorkeling, so for me it is a must-see.
